Picked up this '59 fairlane 300 fordor sedan last thursday, finally got a break in the weather to pull her out of the garage and snap some pics before the rain hits. Stoked to be able to take my little girls along to cruises and shows. CAN'T WAIT.:D

Looks like a blast! Drive the wheels off it!

Pleeease put on a dual pot master before you drive your kids around, though.

  9. I like it.My first car (at 12) was a 59 galaxie 500 2 door hard top I paid $1 for!
Of course this was in 1969 and it was just an old car. I drove around in the field for 2 years and sold it for $35.By the way,is that your "old lady" in your avatar??

Neat ,i have always drove old cars and i am looking for something old for my wife to drive now,it only took me ten years to talk her into it . Late models suck and they are too expensive to maintan once the warranty runs out. I always liked 59 Fords good choice...

That's cool. I take my 6 year old to most places I go and to the other most times my 17 year old sons and often times a couple of their friends ride along.

4 door drivers are perfect for everyone to be able to enjoy shows or what have you. The boys will be paid off soon and I can then afford to get something impractical along with the family cruiser but I'll always have something the kids or grandkids and friends can go along also.
