Well I should of said "60's show-rod, style build" You know...flashy paintjob, overhead-valve engine with lots of polished aluminum, Radirs, and whitewalls, and slicks. I don't know about current fads...it sits on top of the frame, and the rear wheel wells aren't even cut...definately not "rat rod low" The interior is going to be a "theme" type deal, but it's just an interior, and can be changed any time I want. However...I'm not a "living history hot rod re-enactor" So if I go off the page a little...It's 2008! Scrubline infraction? It's the Speedway spring mounting brackets...there's no other way to put them on...they're designed to be that way.
It's got too many gallons of clear on it to be cutting on it now! It's just lightly bolted on there now for the pic...it will straighten out a little.
Thanks Dave! And everyone else...I know the grill isn't to everyones taste, but I think it makes the car look sinister, and like the interior...I can change it anytime I want.
Only 4 of the camels, 5 of the goats, and one of the oxen are still virgins... as of last week... It's Friday night and that could change. If you can live with that, do we have a deal? They are all one "owner" with low "miles" BTTT for a very cool heap.
Thanks guys! The color really doesn't come through to the full effect...It was rainy and overcast when I took the pics...I think that 'flake will start fires on the side of the road if I have to sit at a light for too long! I hate flex hoses too! And flex fans...but sometimes you have to improvise!
Yes...Here is a link to the chassis pics... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=247174
I drove it around a little bit today...just up and down the road. It still needs some wireing to the brake/tail/headlights, and there was no seat but it runs real nice!
