It's lookin' really good. I'm looking forward to seeing it in person. I think mine is going to make it, too. Hope to get the body on next weekend. Sure hope it doesn't rain. I'll have that big "sunroof" open and the windsheild will be the only glass in it.
Ok, wheres the video? I know you've got the radiator in and have fired it up by now for sure...I mean you've had it for at least 8 hours now.
Thanks everyone, Yes I did get the radiator mounts made tonight. Pops cam over and tried a couple mre combinations on the starter. We actually fired it up with the old carburetor and idled for a bit. Nothing for youtube but definalty promising. The bellhousing adapter appeared to be too thick not allowing the starter nose housing to sit all the ay flush which kicked the drive in alittle to make it crash into the flywheel. We reamed the inner egde to let it rotate where it needed to be. Gonna put the original starter and drive back in it tomorrow and with my fingers crossed it will be the ticket The pics actually make it alot beeter than what it is but a Hot Rod is hopefully what it turns out to be no matter how rough it is. Thanks for all the words of encouragment. Now we got 31 days Rusty
