I'm excited, I scored a set of wide white wall tires for $150 and they are practically brand new, just dingy.
Went to a small swap meet here in Rochester, picked up 2 N.O.S. Goodyear 6.70 15 whitewalls, one still in the wrapper. Got them home, opened them up, and they are 2 different styles of tires. Bummer! Oh well, they are going on any way. $60.00 for the pair.
Nothing directly auto related this weekend, but I did score some Fifties furniture that will go in my auto parts collection display room (otherwise known as my den). I got two very cool blond wood end tables from the antique mall that were dated Sept. 1959 on the underside. $50 for the pair. They'll match my blond wood Zenith record player from 1952. And, I picked up a nice naugahyde sofa made in the Fifties for 10 bucks from the thrift store! Edit: Oh, I almost forgot. I picked up several car magazine annuals and a copy of "Best of Hot Rod" from the Nineties, all of which had a lot of coverage of racing and hot rods from the Thirties through the Sixties ($4.00 total), and a "Society of Automobile Engineering Technicians" (SAE) silk pit jacket from 1967 in like new condition. That all came from the thrift store.

A complete (minus doorpanels) interior for a buds 'Stang for a Benjamin. The swap we went to was a disappointment, at least the season is starting and there'll be more. Jay
I got a 50.00 edelbrock tunnel ram and a brand new son in law But it kinda cost me my daughter cause they left today for Cherry Point NC for probably close to 2 years til his enlistment endsThat's ok I guess, he's served in Iraq, Korea and Japan and now he's back and deserves to be in the States
I scored a non-HAMB friendly project car with a 1776 cc engine for $300 Saturday. New plugs, cap, and rotor, fresh fuel, and it's running great. Just need to buy $300 worth of tires and it'll be ready to drive. Oh, it's not listed in the signature either. No need to stir things up that way.
No car pieces but a nice ss topped work table /cabinet with two drawers that is just right for the shop.
Assdragger gave me a reverse-eye model a spring, and a pair of 40's lincoln spindles. Atch gave me lots of good info and a passenger side frame horn to repair my buddy's frame. My buddy picked up a pass. side 30-31 sedan door saturday for free and a driver side door sunday for $10. He's got $10 in two nearly perfect doors. Needless to say, i was jealous. One of my 28-29 doors was $50 and i thought that was cheap. Ratty55
I thought I did well the the NIB 10" Hayden cooling fan for $8.00, but looks like Deadman did much better!
