Most anything from Nash. Maybe this will bring some pics out of the woodworks but I rarely see here "I'm building a Nash" and they made a bunch of cool stuff.

i think that whatever doesnt have the name ford on it is under apreciated. Dont get me wrong i like fords but there are cars out there that make cool or even beter looknig customs or traitional hot rods. Chevy is also mainly known but only from the late forties on up. I have a 36 and 58 chevy trucks and think they look good but sometimes i think others look beter.

  12. They got this car backwards. Looks like the rear end of a '58 Chevy with headlights. Looks better on the Chevy.

  14. That's EXACTLY what I thought!

I'd have to say mine would have to be 50's Chrysler/Plymouth is my choice.

  15. As good tin gets harder to find, more people are less intimidated by the replacement of body structure on the Chevies, and their styling has always been acceptable.;)

  16. Here's some pics, yes i'm biased but aren't these stylish designs?

    1. 61-4 Olds, I have a '63 Ninety Eight 2dr, 394 Sky Rocket...Bad Ass
    2. 57-60 Ford Trucks thier talked about but not alot of press in mags and at shows.
    3. Late 30's Olsmobiles..I have a '38 4dr Straight 8 Sedan
    4. Late 20's and Early 30's Essex
    5. 60-61 Mopar Wagons
    6. Big Body Impalas, like '73 I have a '73 2dr they get alot of press in the coveted DONK world, yet no other places.
    7. '59-'60 Buicks
    8. Any early Mopars
    9. Pretty much anything Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Buick
    10. Anything Nash, Rambler, AMC
    11. Hudsons, and Packards

I gotta second, or third the Hudsons, of course I'm partial, but there were far fewer of these made, and even less that survived

  20. Rambler Marlin, 63-4 American, 60 Plymouth wagon are a few that come to mind.

Not traditional, Hell not even American but I've always kinda liked those little Volvo P1800's. Did I say that out loud? Maybe somebody with loads of talent could do something cool with one of those.

  22. 41 Fords! (I'm partial ;))

'41 Mercury has one of the best looking front ends Ford built.

'67 Buick Wildcat is tits. just needs the rear end lowered and a tank of gas.

I agree with you 100 %. I feel bad there wasted on the "donk" guys... Kind of an O/T car. But I'd love to get my hands on a '71-'72 Chev wagon to use as a DD. Trouble is, I think most of the GM wagons between '71-'76 died in demo derbies. Such a shame, I love those wagons.....:(

  30. Awesome thread keep those photos coming. If I had a digital camera I'd post photos of my 59 Fury. Why anyone would take time and money to build another red 55-57 Chevy or Camaro is beyond me.
