Mainstream web developer of 13 years by day. Adult webmaster by night and I'm not kidding. Funny thing is adult is 100x more challenging not to mention shady as fuck but the extra $$$ pays for my 51 Buick project.

My last day at GE after 13yrs. is tomorrow.:(

The last 7+ as a machinist/mechanic, 3yrs. in maintance before that, and 3-ish years as the shipping groupleader, a packer, relief person, all the typical production jobs before hitting "skilled trades".

Guess I'll have more time to surf the HAMB.....

After 27 years as an independant trucker, I'm now trying to be retired. I also own a tree farm.

  16. The first 14 years were spent at Jewel foods in the produce department and the last 20 have been spent with my towns water department at the top of the ladder as crew chief . The job sucks but in these troubled times , it sure do pay the bills! Mike

I'm an Elementary School and ESL teacher... but in Salt Lake City that means you're broke. I also owned a Theatre Education Co. in CT and NYC. Start-up in SLC is going slower than I prefer. This city's pace is different than I'm used to.

SO --- I'm looking for a new job. I'm willing to change my career if the opportunity allows for growth. Any Utah folks know of anything?

Guess Im kinda semi-retired right now. Worked as a machinist for 28 yrs. for a large tool manufacturer, worked about 7 yrs. for Ford Motor Company as a toolmaker in dimensional control, I took one of the buyouts, my last day was the end of Aug. 2007. Now I hang out with all my retired hotrod buddies, we work on cars and tell lies, life's good. Only in America.

Wow, that's nice work. Good for you finding something you enjoy that much.

  27. I tried to find it too. Looked through all my old posts and didn't see it so I think it must have been deleted.

    Anyway, I'm an art director.
