  1. Nate's been busy so he threw the challenge into my court. May I start by humbly thanking everyone for their comments and compliments on challenge #5. I really didn't expect the response I received.
    (AND, we're looking for you!)

Without further delay, here's my challenge... (why do I feel like the Chairman of the board of the Iron Chef???)

1946 Chevrolet Pickup, Suburban or Panel Delivery.

    Fix me...

    Your my only hope...

That is one sweet pickup! Good job! Im gonna steal it for a template, if you don't mind! :)

  10. No it's not but it is a bit freaky how close our ideas were. I think the coupe would present an excelent challenge down the road so stay tooned (oops, I mean tuned,... stupid cartoonists...)

Glad you guys are climbing on board, I couldn't stand to hear you squirming. Get goin'...

    Ha ha.

Photobucket won't upload it as a .bmp file, and for some reason the full moon is showing up white instead of pale yellow like the sign background.

    Thanks,

    I dig this stuff.

Just so I'm clear, is the challenge strictly based on the pictures you've posted?? The image I've attched for this post is not one of the photo's but I'd altered this photo for someone on the HAMB that asked for Photoshop help and was stupid enough not to mark the post. So, in the interest of the challenge and hopefully finding the owner of their new car, here's my entry.

Chopped, channeled, nosed, shaved, frenched, Bill Hines flared rear fenders, 4-door to 2-door, spotlights, skirts, extended body line, hubcaps. I tried to paint it but wasn't satisfied with my results, so it's primed and ready.

    First is the concept!

    Second is the drawing.

I am still not satisfied with it, but what the hell! Heres a 46' woody panel!

Jigger you got the last word on this, but I think art is art, no matter how it is produced! As long as it is not copied! :)
