Route 66 Shift Knob ????

Route 66 Emblem shift knob. Only see the aluminum version on ebay. Checked the usual sources. Anyone know where I can get one that is the classic ball shape . Thanks.

Check out this rare knob i got...George told me that he made these about 30 years ago and made very few of them. I was told that he made them for the Starbird Anniversary show and they were gone in minutes and he said that lots of people have asked him to put out more and he wont do it. I showed it to Winfield and he was shocked at how i got one and he didn't... Just my Luck i guess! I thought that this would look hot on a Black chopped Merc with white interior. check it out...

Thanks Man, I showed it to the guys at the Barris booth at the Mooneyes show a few years ago and they didn't have a clue about it...They said "Man, That was way before our time" so i had to ask George himself at the GNRS and he ran it down for me... It's for sale but it won't go cheap! either that or i start looking for a Merc to build...hahahaha

Yeah i think they are repop'ng because when i showed George the one i got...he had to look at it real good ...to make sure that the crest was really his and he told me that it was a different crest (an older version) I guess he made a changes to it or something.

Went to this website and inquierd about the Barris knob. I was told that it has been discontinued due to License Infingement and they are no longer available. Hhhhmmmm Re-Pop's? I think so!
