Wichita Kansas Swap- who's goin'?

This weekend is the Wichita Swap Meet. Friday Saturday and Sunday.

Who is going to be there?

I am heading down Saturday morning.

 

We got a group leaving my house at 6:00 AM friday, but will probably be back up saturday too.

 

I'm coming up early Sat. to sell some junk, but some junk and check up on my, umm, nevermind I didn't say anything.

 

I'm planning on it. going to leave here friday morning

 

Heading down on Friday morning with ADpartsman. He's picking up a '27 T roadster body. I'm just looking and meeting up with some friends. After paying the machine shop bill for the flatty, I'm tapped out.

 

HotRod Roadster (Gary) is supposed to be down there.....

Both, and it's usually cold inside too.

 

No more outside swap spots. It's all inside and they have rennovated the buildings, I believe there are cannopy's between each building now. Still tons of swappers inside.

I'll be there after 12:00 on Saturday, probably have my parts mate with me (Hannah - my 5 yr old).

I usually go Friday dark thirty in the morning. With the new job I think I'm going to have to wait till Saturday. Heavy sigh.

 

I'll be there, going to Ark. City first on Thursday to leave the wagon with Jeff Meyers for some of his super cool paint works. Check out his place and hopefully get to see his new custom Cad !!!! Then back to Wichita to drop off a HAMB parts relay for Roadburner1 and KB Cookout. I'll be at the swap Friday AM, be there Sat. too. Heading back to Omaha Sat afternoon, not sure yet but might have an empty 20' box back to Omaha for gas money ??? Gary

 

Kustm52 and I will hit town Thursday afternoon and be pushing on the gate by dawn on Friday. If anybody is up for dinner/drinks 8pmish on Thursday give us a shout.

I`m planning on being there early friday to get the Hambchargers 2 off my trailer, and onto BenD`s.

Then I`ll be seriously looking for `40 Ford parts!

Root, it sounds like a treasure trove in the making. I missed out on Dwight Bond's roadster body in the auction last night. It looked to be a nice job and that he knew how to hammerweld and lead seams. If it didn't sell, the next stop was this meet. It sounds as though many of the locals will be going. Pitman

 

Since you will be there both days- you can be the Kingpin. Where is a good spot to meet up? Say around noon?
