How Do I run 5 X5 1/2 spokes on a ford mav 8"?

    I can verify that 1in adapters on a mav. rear will work with wires. I tried some on my car for grins. The adapters have been on there since 1991 and 100k+ miles with no problem

    i would look into a new set of axles. i think you can beat that 400 dollar price. i had a 9" cut and narowed with new axles supplied for 500.

    I only post about what I know for sure. There are plenty of people doing just the opposite on this board just to boost their post count. Only a portion of what is posted is correct. Senior Smenior....................
     
  6. plus you'll end up with new bearings with the slick O ring seal. New axles are the right way to change your bolt pattern. Save your old axles to swap it back if you want to run street rodder wheels- doesn't take a half hour to swap axles.
