One of those math-heads (not meth-heads) out there ought to find someone who registered on March 1 of each year, see what number they were, and then figure the percentage of growth for each year.

I would but I'm the idea man....

  9. Don't feel bad Tony,,,it took me longer and I got it by error!

Just for Kicks,,,do you know what Dale Ernhardt and Ryan have in common?,,,,

  10. I believe those numbers started as you signed back on after one of the big board changes several years ago. I am 16 but only found the place in January of 2000. Notice many of us all "joined in March 2001"?

I have always wondered when I found the hamb.

It was post pokemon, pre-Ryan's graduating college, Warpigg still worked at a liquor store, The jalopy Journal had been stagnant forever, Dirty Shirts was still in business, Killer was still his name, there were no moderators just Ryan. It had to be around 99 or 2000.......
Ryan had the 38 and the 65 Rivi.

Wait maybe Killer was a mod? I dunno....it was a long time ago.

Yep, the only person who shows a join date before Mar 2001 is Ryan...

Just for Giggles, Radshit is #4

Hey where is that archive site that you can put in old websites? I am curious how many members were here in 1999....

Im 3811, thats a really interesting fact. I remember when I first saw the hamb, it had the guys in white jacket working under the hood or something, I think it still had the 4 speed logo, I must have lurked for a long time before I got the internet at home and could register, before I only looked at it at work. Still hate my user name. Should have spent a little more time on that decision.

haha... for any of you that I have met or will meet in the future, you'll figure out, pretty quickly, where my name came from...
Somebody started it as a nick-name for me about 6 or 7 years ago and it stuck. To this day, some people think Malcolm really is my name.

    Anyways, on with the reminiscing....

You are #280. Take a look at your profile. The # at the end of the "WWW" address is your #.

280 ?? Damn, guess I've been here a while. I know I was here before my "join date".

  26. For the record most of us really dont give a shit about what number we are. There seems to be a group of folks that worry about that and post counts. WTF?

Yeah, anyone who truly gives a crap about their number or post count probably has bigger (or smaller:D) things to worry about.

Just a fun bit of trivia.... I find it more interesting as it does show milestones as to how the membership has ramped up.
