Now that we have so much time into the paint, we see all the stuff that was wrong with the body. I never asked Alex and the guys to do any bodywork, and I won't mind it when it's done, but I'm sure it will be said that we should have.

It's always been meant to be a driver, and that's what it will be, so I'm not too worried about minor body stuff. very few people will see past the crazy fucking paint anyway.

The one bummer about it getting so elaborate is that it is starting to scream out for a name. I hate named cars but...

Kirk your car is turning out sick, did you happen to put it on the scales before you started? I'm curious how much more it weighs with all the clear used to cover the lace and webbing. The thought of color sanding and rub out makes my hands and joints ache.

LMFAO! Thats some funny stuff!! I saw that on "Disney's wonderfull world of color" when I was a kid, thats what made me want to start pinstriping . My folks even had a white 66 ford galaxy like in the opening shots. They wouldnt let me near it with a brush!

 

Go with that. it makes the least sense and sounds the least like your trying for a cool name. I think the f-ed up picture of the "secret" ingredient sealed the deal for me. sometimes things just name themselves.
