sort of feel like a light weight based on the other pics in this thread. My buddy and I are building a full custom 51 Fleetline. There are pics of our top chop in another thread. This shows our tail lights. We used 99 Mercury Sable taillights turned sideways. The photos show what we did !

Not much to these but all that I have at the moment. The first is a "modern" nostalgia dragster. I don't particularly like the flat top cages and squared off bodies but it was what the customer wanted. We do all of our seats with a rounded bucket--no Sponge Bob stuff in our shop.

This is my most recent deal. Fairly simple except for the cowl around the windshield area. A lot more traditional style wise than the other car. In fact the cowl is pretty much the same shape as the Tom Hanna body on my Don Long car. Nice to have a real one for reference.

More shots of the 36 3-window. Metal work is being done by "Jeb's Metal and Speed" Long Beach, CA.

    Jeb rocks. See for yourself.

  12. WOW! That chevy 3 window has a 68 chevy full-size car tailight...just one! I love it. I'm gonna have to keep that in mind everytime I walk around the local salvage yard...HMMMMMMMm. I don't wanna 68 chevy light for my coupe because it's already been done [and looks great] but there are about a million other possible donor cars.

hot rod man, you hit hod rodding right on the head. Use whatever you can to get what it is in your head to the pavement. Bravo, the build looks good, keep up on the little things and you will have an outstanding car.

I still need to pick the lows and highs and do my filing.Should'nt have much filler when I'm done. The other is a before shot of the left side. The car had a lot of rust not counting the wheelbase relocation.
