Jim, I don't know how long its been since you have been there, but there is no overflow at the back of the meet anymore. If they have spots to sell after the main swap fills up (doubtful) they will stick you in the VW section. That is certain death, nobody goes in there because they think its all just VW's. Just an FYI.

i went last time and it SUCKED bad, the worst ever, toys everywhere and not just in the first few rows. i going to give it a couple of times before i go back (and i used to go almost everytime). i want to go to turlock.......
Yeah it's slim pickins nowadays, mostly tri-five stuff and toys. A lot of the sites look like yard sales with guitars and old clothes. GAY. But I like to go to get out of the house and see all the cars, meet up with people I only see at the swap. Sometimes you can find good stuff. I got a pair of Square backs for $40 and an A front spring and 40 Ford front spring for $20 a piece. My buddy recently found my '34 front axle for $5. Just gotta be on a mission.
Turlock, kicks a$$!! Been holding off on all the swaps for a month or so in anticipation of Turlock. If you've never been and your within 7 or 8 hrs. of Turlock slap yourself, now! Once you get over the shock, plan on making it. It's the last weekend of Jan. There are other Turlocks throughout the year but this one is the one to go to.

Pomona sucks!!!!.......and I was going all the time-since the early 80's.... I stopped going 4 years ago.... My friends go all the time and they always come back empty handed. It's nothing but high prices and damaged junk.
