You better put some safty equipment on buddy! After all you've been through, you don't want to get hurt for some stupid reason! Sorry,Just being a dad...
Careful with that angle grinder, I can count on losing a little skin every time I pick one of those up. Whats the plan, Dropped axle in front? how much? z the frame in back or not.
That's the best pics on the board. We've all been anxious to see the build, getting under way. GET ER DONE!!! The "best" therapy,a hot rodder could ask for.
Congratulations!! It certainly is great to see you doing well enough to start the build. Take as many pictures as you can manage. And, yes... safety first. Face shield, gloves and a dust mask when grinding. You might as well take care of your health. You've worked hard enough getting it back.
Nice job on the pics Andy.It was a good night.Had Andy`s Trans dropped off and Hackerbill, Ton2660 and me fitzee managed to get both front rails cut and one welded togeather.we are going at it Thursday night agian. So Andy you keep the pics coming.See ya Thursday buddy fitzee
Great to see you out there cutting, beating, banging, scrapping knuckles and otherwise doing what car guys do! Good luck with the build, Andy!
Ok.. I suck at this sort of thing but here's an idea I've had for a while. Maybe Andy and his "crew" could make sure we have plenty of pictures and stories so that someone could assemble them into a scrapbook (electronic or paper). Not just the build but the events leading up to it too. It could be auctioned off to pay for something on his build OR to help fund a project or relief for some other deserving HAMBer. Sure have been a bunch of folks in need since I joined. "Andy's ride". Someone want to take this project on? Whaddaya think? Go ahead and start a new post if you want to work on this. I have lots of computer skills but not much creativity. I can do lots of computer grunt work. If no one else wants to take it on I will but some of you folks are SO talented and I'd be proud to assist. Joe
Andy- Just read up on your story and it truly is an inspiration. Good to see you out and about doing work. Get going on that thing and keep us posted on the progress!
WOW Andy-congrats bud! These are the coolest pictures to see ever! You're hooked now-there is no turning back Everybody is very happy to see this & proud of you, and we do want to see ALL of your progress posted here Dan
Well its been like two days already,...thanks to your uncles Kirk and Gambino, us spoilt puter nerds EXPECT massive progress and PIX ALREADY!!!!!
Right on! Take lots of pics along the way as you build! You'll be glad you did! The good times start now!
If anyone is every in our area we would sure like for you guys to drop by and swing a hammer or strike a spark on Andy's build. I know Andy speaks about everyone who helped and Chris is so greatful
