Jim, I am always impressed by your work. This car looks awesome and I love the direction you are going.... but, I will be the first one to question. Do you think the front wheels should be moved back a little?.... I mean, even a couple inches might make a difference. I am, by no means, bashing your latest build. It is just something that popped into my mind when I first looked at your photos. No matter what, this car rules.... Malcolm
Yes you have gone to far, but i admire that quality!!! The car brings to mind another famous Pacific Northwest car, the "Orange Crate". Keep up the wild ideas, you are one inspiring builder.
that thing is friggin RAD!!! keep us posted. i love everything about it, especialy the powerplant!! ...it would be cooler with 3 pedals though!
nope. you've ruined it. now just send me your address and ill take care of it for you. that thing gives me goose bumps its tougher than chuck norris
I've seen pic's of your shop before but I have to ask.................. is that Antique Auto Ranch (I think) used to be Bill Paynes? He used to do a lot of swap meets in the '80's. He is a very large fella and one hella of a nice guy.
Too far? Way too far!! And I absolutely think that it is coming along just perfectly. Very nice. Always liked your work.
Agreed, ala Orange Crate. Very cool. It'll definitely get the looks whenever ya pull in and park anywhere! Nasty profile!! Totally diggin it! I'm not a huge fan of orange but "The Orange Crate Coupe" would make a buncha car guys smile whenever they hear the name and see the car.
How many years have you been goin' without sleep now? The sheer volume of work that goes out of your shop is as impressive as the work you do. Super!
Nice looking concept there Mr. Sib. Wondered about the seal aspect that Littleman mentioned, would high temp silicone serve as a gasket of some kind? (or another matl?) Looking forward to more pics!
Whoa Dammit! Great concept, but the execution is what really warrants attention! Incredible. Just incredible.
Awesome work.... radical but in a tasteful way... yeah the supercase.... I hear really good things about them...
YES! WAY too far!!! So far in fact that you need to bring it straight over to my house so I can finish it and proptly tharsh it at the drag strip.
I love the idea and the craftsmanship. The two things that I would keep in mind as the build progresses is the paint and filling the gap between the firewall and front running gear. Just keep your original ideas and intentions. Keep us up to date.
I havent even began to think on the firewall. Does anyone have some good pics of the orange crate firewall for me to work off of.
It's on the cover of the latest Rodders Journal and there are a ton of great photos of it inside.... Malcolm
