Cheap. Easy to work on. My beat up bomb gets more respect than a new Escalade. What's not to like?

Just make sure the tranny works. They are very expensive to rebuild.

I think the point is made. IMO, 41 model 62 cpe or conv, 47 model 62 4dr, fastback (sedanette), or conv, 54-5-6-7-8, most any except the post cars, 57-8 eldo broughams and eldo sevilles (2dr ht), 61-2 coupe deville, 64 coupe deville, and the 62-3 (64?) Park Avenue. And do a lil research before you start with the "buick" comments regarding the Park Avenue. Jimmy Vaughn's is as pure as it gets. Perfect.

    Here's my opinion -

I am so tired of these stupid fucking posts.

Is it cool? Is it traditional enough? Should I buy it?

What ever happened to buying a car simply because YOU like it and not because you think OTHER PEOPLE will think you're cool for having it?

If you can't decide what's "cool" on your own, then you're a FOLLOWER. And if you need someone to tell you whether or not something is "traditional", then you really don't know anything about traditional hot rods and customs (and therefore have no real passion for them) and you're just trying to jump on the bandwagon.

There are definately enough opinions on whats cool and whats not cool on here. Some here live on this board to tell others that their cars or ideas arent traditional or should not do this or do that. If you listen to these opinions you'll probably end up with something that you dont even like. Im sure there are a lot of people here that dont like my car, but I love it and thats all that matters.

Buy what you like, do what you want with it and drive the fk out of it.

It takes very little to make a early 60's Caddy or Lincoln a COOL Mild Kustom.

Geez, I guess he told me! I am asking about traditional because I am new to this, and trying to learn. I guess you have to be born with the knowledge about what is traditional or not to be a real HAMB'er. If that is "Jumping on the Bandwagon" then call me a jumper...you caught me!

Here is my caddy. I have owned this thing for 15 or so years. I just got it running about 4 months ago.

Sound's like someone pissed in repo's coffee...

I thought it was generally asking an opinion of a certain car from a group that "spreads the gospel..." instead of a beg for acceptance. What some of us take on instinct can be shared. I thought that was the basis of the board.
