On December 20th a white 2006 Ford 4 door powerstroke pickup, 25 foot enclosed
trailer with a Show-Me 32 Ford roadster body with Pete& Jakes chassis inside was
    stolen in Oklahoma City.

The trailer and pickup had Lonestar Rod Shop signeage on them.

Roadster body is black gelcoat, frame unpainted. All suspension parts were there
including all Chrome Pete &Jakes front end ,with chrome drilled Super bell axle
Hairpins, chrome rear 4-bars and 9" rear with coilovers.

Yea, we'll probably never see any of this again, and yea the insurance will probably
cover it,but the pain in the ass of all the the paperwork, delays and general
dissapointment in those who do this kind of thing is disgusting.

Anyway, be aware, and if you see someone with a deal that looks too good to be
    right ,call the authorities.

    Thanks

Is it really that easy to start a new truck without the key??? I know the type of thief that does this is not just a street punk, they have all the tools and tricks.
Sorry for the loss ,hope you get it back!

Depends on the truck itself. If it had a transponder key (not sure about fords) then yes they are slightly more difficult to jack. By that
I mean it requires more initial investment by the scumbag, but once they have the right tools/ knowledge to by pass the transponder function it's just like hot wiring an old jalopy. In either case, people that take other people's shit are the scum of the earth they should be wiped off the face of it!!

Dude that sucks! I'll keep my eyes open in my town. May be en route to another country. Seems ABQ is kinda dispatch...
My mom's first public art was stolen for most likely scrap bronze over xmas eve. We figure the got two and a half grand profit off of it. Took a torch to get it off the bench in the park. I have NO tolerance for thieves anymore.

    That chart is great.....

It's amazing how ballsy thieves are nowadays. Some high-end crooks have been stealing those huge 4WD tractors right off the dealership lots up here in Montana.....and those aren't easy to hide....the bastards just disappear into thin air.

  28. Sorry for your loss, read an article years ago about how trucks and trailers with compnay advertising on them were more likely to get stolen than the ones left plane. Love to find the punks in the act revenge would be so sweet.
