Stick Shift: Thanks! I just took out some leafs. It still rides great. Posies is making some drop leafs as well to drop stock suspensions about 3-4 inches. I am tempted to get a couple more!!!!!

What does it take to add extra teeth? Anything drastic or do they just bolt in? I'm starting to like these trucks more and more with each I see.

I added extra teeth. All the teeth are different, there is a left, middle and right tooth. If you want to have 5 teeth just take a left and a right tooth and grind the "inner edges" until they fit. And I simply cut the bottom of the added teeth so I did not have to cut a "D" shaped hole into the sheetmetal below.

Here is my 49 I got from my Uncle. He bought it in the early 50's and parked it in his garage in 73 to protect it from his ex wife who had slashed the tires on his other cars. It stayed there til he recently gave it to me.

Binga it is so cool to see a 51 back at home, I had never seen one until I moved over here.

Is it a real RAC truck ? Send me some more details and pictures, if you don't want to post them, send them to me direct stragedy AT gmail.com

thanx poncho62 ! you are talking to a tech moron so i'll have to ask the wife or one of the grand kids how to do both of your suggestions !!!!!!!! thanx again . but thats my " beauty " the rust in the front fenders is the only rust , outside of surface in the damntruck and it runs , 8rt flatty with an un synchronized 4 gear . not sure what i'm doing with it yet , was gonna make a wrecker but those plans got changed .
