Sweet show guys for the last one of 2007.
Man ...what a year of awesome art posts from all of you:)

keep the inspiration coming in '08!

Well, this started out as a pin striping sketch in my sketch book and my clothing sponsor saw it and wanted to use it for a new tee and board short for their '08 line.
So their in-house artist cleaned it up a bit in illustrator and this was the finished product.

They'll be available on the sessions.com website if anyone is interested in this design:)
cheers and see ya'll next year!

That's a loaded question.... art for the playing cards-wise, about 2/3 of the way through... I started throwing in all kinds of pro-touring and drag race stuff, but centered back on just show-type rods and customs... On the other hand, ask my wife, and I'm a few cards shy at times....
    Man, so much cool stuff....
Monster, I gotta get on your Christmas list! Wicked stuff...
Skirv, thanks for the kind words! Glad you liked 'em!!
lockwoodkustoms. man... I can't get enough! Awesome work.
    CAB, that's very cool!
    Eddiesixem, cool work!
    safariknut, I like!!
Von Hartmann, I always look for your posts! Great work.
    Gary C, thanks, man!
Denise, you have two GREAT pieces in your collection!
    Robin, as always, amazing work...
Hope I didn't miss anyone, there's a lot to take in....
Thought I'd throw on a couple more to keep it rolling...
Piece I toyed with a bit, experimenting with some finishes and mashing-up some styles:

    Great stuff as always!!

Here's a christmas gift to myself. I did the artwork and Setzer Signs made the pickguard for my new Gretsch. I couldn't bring myself to put a decal on that beautiful tiger maple and lacquer... so this was the perfect solution. :D

And as long as I'm showing musical stuff, here is some art from promotion and tshirts I did for SMR Double Basses in Evanston, IL.

Hey I haven't put any of Mitch's artwork on for him but here are three for just looking. What a great year and 2008 will only get better. Long live The Friday Art Show. Gary, Pollock, J. lockwood and Eddiex. and those acrylics would make some kind of a killer artshow. Maybe we can arrange some kind of Hamb art show display/gathering at a major hotrod hamb get together. Think about it for the new year guys. Ryan's creative mind might come up with something. Thanks, Joe www.powerandnoise.com

HAMB Drags has the most HAMB folks in one location at one time and I'm SURE the host hotel would give the HAMB a banquet room comp'd for such an event.

  14. Great stuff from all of you this year fellows!

CAB; awesome designs! I bet the Tees come with a pair of glasses with one red lens and one green lens to make you see 3D ;)

Didn't finish anything new this week so I'm reposting one of my favorites of the past year:

Thanks to everyone for the kind words!

I, for one, would love to have an art show during the HAMB drags! How cool is that? Who knows how many peices I'll have at the time to show, but anything is cool, right?!

I try to paint two for every one I sell. Sometimes it works out that way too, haha

Yeah the girls make the hotrods and customs look way better. Mitch seems to like those kinds of scary looking women. You should see the tattoos of the girls on his arms not exactly trailer queens if you know what I mean. Wanna be pin-ups gone bad would be the name of the reality TV show...

That "Don't Pollute" would be a great bumper sticker! I'd put it just above my tailpipe!
