I've been back on my 32 rpu project pretty consistent this year.

It started back in 2004, but then got put aside for a couple of years while life got in the way.

I am working on the cab and bed now...which, at the rate I work, will consume the better part of 2008.

We're building a 30' Model A coupe. 4" chop, 4" channel, z'd 5". Will be running a 401 Nailhead mated to a 5spd, and a 9". Hope to have it road worthy or very close in time for summer.

    Great idea Scooter !
My A-Sedan project has taken much longer than I wanted it to, but I'm within a couple of weeks of being finished and on the road.
I made a BIG change in the car from beater-to-finished, which added another year to the job.

Here is my 34' pickup that I started 6 months ago, hopefully will be driving early spring to mid summer 08'. 57' 365 Caddy with a Edelbrock 4 duece intake topped with 94's backed by a M-21 Muncie 4 spd. Rearend is the motor's original partner. The cab is chopped 4" channeled 6" with a Model A box that I shortened 6". The frame is built out of 2 by 3 tubing 3/16 wall with 1/4 elliptics at each corner. 17" Kelsey Hayes with 5.50-17 up font and 7.50-17 out back...damn they ARE tall. I about sh*t when they arrived from Coker, but hey why not? Just got the tires in a month ago and just finishing the floorpans as we speak.

50 Dodge Wayfarer Roadster. Getting a Red Ram Hemi, four wheel disks, new tranny and rearend. Gonna be red with a red leather interior. Stock frame and front end with repositioned shocks and maybe rack and pinion depending on how the hemi slides in.

Body looks good but isn't. Need to reskin bottom of doors and replace metal between door and rear fenders. Trunk and rear floors are solid, but front floors are gone with a really crappy repair job covered with bedliner. The good news - I have four NOS fenders.

All the body mounts on the car are toast - just rotted away. The body is basically sitting on what's left of the floor. The boxed inner rockers are also just about gone. I'll be doing a lot of metal work this winter. Lucky for me I found a convertible parts car with solid mounts and a better frame, so part of the problem is solved.

    I'm building a 40s Dodge truck...
But it's not traditional, so from what I've seen, most here will not like it... That's OK though, cause it's mine ;)
If I had to buy parts I would have done it differently, but I'm doing this for about free :D
