I hope you saved all that sprayed lace. it would have been good door panel filler (or inside the trunk against pearl white vinyl (inserts that dont get touched)

I will be the first to admit, love the roof but all the lace on the main body scares me some.. but I know its not finished (and the center is not done yet) to see how it will tie in with the rest of the car (fading of colors etc...) my be its the stark white against the blue (versus darker cars that do similar stuff)

I look forward to the progress and how it all comes together.

 

It won't be stark blue/white lace. It will be more like blue panels with blue on blue texture in them.

 

I noticed you said the center of the hood and trunk will be done with different lace. Are they gonna be a different color too? What rims are you gonna run,Astros?

They'll be the same color, just a different pattern. The idea is a Watson-style panel job with texture.

It has chrome steelies with spiders. The centers of the wheels will be the same blue as the panels.

That thing looks awesome. My T-bird is in the shop being painted as well, They tried to talk me into lace, but I backed off. Looks great on your car though. My roof is done and looks amazing but I can't get the pics to show the effects.
Can't wait to see yours done!!
