Man, that pic of the wagon reminds me of my childhood.
Is that a '60 Chevy or am I getting senile?

  13. Very cool. Worth the second try. I`m diggin that wagon parked in front of typical 60`s southern Cali home. Too cool, indeed.

  14. heres some more cool shots

I think I saw that car carrier last week when I was surfing either New Yorks historical photo site, but a more straight on side view.

=Here are a couple gas stations from Indiana. Note the pickup box in one of the shots. That should add some closure to all the folks who can't find the rumble seat. Both shots from around 1945.
    -Who says 22's ain't traditional (c1917)? =-)

327, great shot.. is the alter boys a band or the car club? i used to play in a band that played at ralph's quite a bit in the late 80's and early 90's .one of the bands around at the time was the alter boys. just wondering if they were still around. havent been there in a while( i need to get out more) best burgers in town..worm town rocks

Mmm, the burgers are the best. These Alter Boys rock but they don't play any instruments, it's a band of gearheads. They put on one of the best traditional car shows around. You need to check it out in late Sept. Here's a couple of links to pics..

That's Sebastians Ruebo's(sp) car right at the Alters boys show? When I was a kid he was at the Nationals in St. Paul, and the Canadian Nats in Winnepeg 1973? He was crazy...ran around in his underwear all week long.

Granpa on the right in the next three pics. Look at the headlights, I think they are blacked out. I thought that was pretty interesting, air raid ready?

I beleive they are 1945. The pickup has a sedan back, and the coupe is cut out for a wood box.
