Please help me ID this rearend. DANA 60 56 1/2 inches outside flange to flange. 5 on 5 1/4 bolt pattern Numbers on pumpkin: 2018188 1968618 c30255 Any info would be much appreciated, thanks guys
there should be a 7 digit number just to the right of the pumpkin.( looking from the rear of the car) numbers are small ...most start with 610...id bet on mopar...
Unfortunately I don't have the rear in my posession yet. My brother just picked it up for me and I just had him look and he cannot find a number in that location. When I get it i'll check it out.
if its a 5x5.5 bolt pattern its probably a 60-2 they came in some early ford 1/2 tons around 65 or so
Nathan; Its out of a 65 Ford Pu. Thats why its 5.5 on 5. I had it left over from my Old 48. I put a 9" in. In the 48 with parelle leaves. Your brother said you were worried that the 8' wouldn't handle the motor. Thats when I remembered I had the Dana 60 with the spring setup and all in the garage with and extra 4speed. All you have to do is ask!
