Window Channel "How To" Ideas needed

I have a '34 Plymouth coupe (that I want to keep as a coupe) and I want to put side glass back in (it's getting cold outside).

Does anyone have a How To or Tech Article that would let me in on the steps necessary to do a highly functional job. My doors are gutted, so I do not know what the old window channels or rails looked like. I also do not know how the regulators were mounted. At this point it would be better to use the "no vent" style side glass. If I can stay away from electric windows it would hep as well.

I need some pretty detailed instructions that give tips like : Measure from here to here so that you can install the window after you fabricate and install the channels. I have never done this before.

Buy a set of 33 or 34 Ford Coupe window regulators and metal glass channels and a flet glass channel kit.
Figure out they work and mount them in the doors. Check out the flet channel set and mount them in the doors figuring what you have to make to do it.
Make glass pattern, get glass cut and installed in metal glass channels, install in doors, roll up and down.
Smile and stay warm and dry.

 

I just recieved a window channel kit from Hagen Street Rods for the 34 Plymouth coupe I'm working on. Looks to be a easy fix, my doors are bare bones too.
