this is a very noble and generous offer,
I can't beat the current bid but would still like to help

if I had an address to send to,
I'd like to send cash direct to the father for help with funeral costs.

    I want to pledge $50.00

  20. Hey guys,

I just returned from the funeral. It was as sad as you could imagine. I feel so sorry for Rich, all the aunts, uncles, cousins, but especially for Josh's kids.

There was a box there for anyone wanting to help offset the costs. I spoke to the guy helping organize all that & he said they hadn't collected half of what they needed yet - & this funeral was done on a tight budget. A PayPal account has been set up for anyone wanting to make a donation to help. For those who want to help but can't top Doc's generous bid, a donation can be sent to: [email protected]. I know that this is a tough time of year for a lot of people's finances but anything you can spare would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your bid Doc & thanks to all who have donated. I know Rich & the family appreciate it.

After reading Harrison's post, I'd like to amend my bid if it is alright with everyone. I'm gonna just send out the 500.00 right now (paypal acct), and I'd like to see if the bidding could continue with the last bid before mine. That way, we could raise a little more money, and I could get something out right away to help with the expenses. I hope this is acceptable.

Bidding $250 and donating $250. I feel like it's the least I can do. Doc, you are truly the greatest person I have yet to meet.

I am speechless. I don't even begin to know how to thank you all. The kindess and generosity is overwhelming. Thank you so much.

I also want to thank all my friends, and greazy hubcapz for providing Josh with a custom flamed casket to match his car, with some of the best pinstriping I have ever seen. I love all you guys.

Tingler and everyone else thanks for stepping up for Rich and the family. Everything everyone is doing is really going to help. Those that have donated so far are greatly appreciated. The family is very grateful for everything. I will see that tehy get everything donated via paypal by the weekend (to allow more time for others). Everything given prior to the service last night has already been given.

    Thanks, Scott
