OK, so what is it with all these new 'HAMB Clubs'?
Isnt the HAMBI enough for you guys?
Am I jealous cause I cant join the 32 club? Well, yes............
but thats beside the point. Are we gonna have a club for each year from 27 to 48?
(Yes I know I cut a huge chunk out of real early and latter HAMB friendly cars but it was for ease of writing, no offence)

Aww, stuff it, all the offence in the world, I'm in a bad mood......... , the thread about hindsight has me depressed about my old 32. Its true, there is a mystique about having one of these own you.
I miss mine and I want it back. Anyone know of an old Aussy 32 3window powered by a blown 427 SOHC, sold it over there in the early 90s and don't even have a pic of it anymore.
    Doc.

  3. People just feel the need to belong to something.

So, so, so, sad, but true. If you read through the general posts you'll see every other one is, " Do these wheels look right?", "Is this rear end period correct?", etc, etc. People DESPERATELY want to belong.

Hahaha Doc, cut back on the Oxycontin bro...and quit falling from hundreds of feet off the ground, that'll always put you in a bad mood...as for the clubs? Piss on 'em, the only club worth being in is the Kropdusters, but that might be the booze talkin'.

  8. Man,there will never be a HAMB club, for us lonely "Early Chevrolet"guys.Wait "Termites R Us!" ;) We are all Hot Rodders, who belong to the HAMB,what more do you need?

a few of them, especially the first ones, were "tongue in cheek" but some people seem to realy want them to be real...

Those "club" guys just don't want to associated with the rest of us "Shits"

  19. I don't buy into poncho62 Canadan way of thinking,,,

Hey,I like the you fill in the blank clubs.

It gives like minded guys and gals a place to see a bunch of cars and trucks in one ongoing post,,,every week or so another car or truck is added.

And ya can thank 3WLarry for dreaming up the idea,,,of course the Deuce Club is my favorite. :D HRP

You guys are all making a big deal outta nothing. Some people are into clubs, some aren't. If you're jealous, go start your own club. If not, stop crying and let them have it.

What about the exclusive " Old Bald Fat Guy" club? There may even be a "Hard of Hearing" seperatist movement.

The Deuce Club was started with a "tongue in cheek" attitude (I think by 3WLarry) and is still that, just as a jab at the Deuce haters out there. But I agree with Doc. this "Club within a community" thing is just dumb.

Hmm, I always think of the Groucho Marx quote: "I wouldn't want to belong to any club that would have me as a member......";)

Makes me think about when my kids were little and they'd be out in the backyard and some neighborhood kids would come over to hang out.
After a while someone would always do something that made someone else irritated and then I'd hear someone yelling, "You can't be in my club!!"
Still laugh when I think about it. We're all still just kids at heart...
