What wheel size/tire size are you running?

    g78-15? I'm lost...That's a tire size? I need to get out more.

  13. Supposedly 6:70-15 replaces it. I have been hunting to try and find another tire, but it seems they do not exist.

Theres a local on here with a 54 pontiac wanting to do something like that.

  17. I was able to find a time when the sun was out AND it was not raining. So here are a couple of pictures.

  19. Very clean. How about a rundown on how the top was constructed and how it attaches?

like the skirts man looks good.

  21. Thanks. The top was bent out of EMT conduit and then I covered it with hardware cloth (like chicken wire). After that I used carpet padding and checked for flat spots. I stuffed those from the bottom and then covered the whole thing with a white pvc tarp and then with that canvas dropcloth for painting.

  22. I just checked and the only pic i have of the roof frame is too dark. Also I didn't take pictures of the roof build because, honestly, I thought it would come out like shit and get thrown away. I'm glad you guys like it though.

What make are the wheels that you have on it? It looks like the same ones that I have that are a Halibrand type copy. I plan on running mine on my '54 Chrysler. KNUX!

  24. I'll try to take some pics of the latches in the frontfor the top, but I used the latches off of the rear windows on a full-sized van. Then I made some brackets and screwed them to the roof frame.

  25. Yes to skirts.

Cool top and YES! for the skirts. AL:)

  27. The rear of the top is attached to the rear deck with three hinges. The top rotates up for entry. I'm working on some gas struts right now so that I don't have to use my super sexy prop rod.:D

    Wheels? Type? Thanx, KNUX!

  29. The wheels I have on it are Cragar Magmasters. 15x7 I think with g78-15 Cooper Untouchables.
