drove the 50 ford on its maiden shake down..(pic)

its been running ,,but i finally had a chance to try and drive it,,( sorry,no motion pics as i was the cammera man/driver), but drove it down the end of my block in the dead end with no exhaust and had to make it back before the cops had a chance to show up,.,hahaha .

 

sweet ride, im sure you had a grin from ear to ear when you first fired it up. looks like someone did some donut's on that street... now i know why you got back b4 the cops came.

thanks guys! its running a buick V8 (buick 350/auto haha) that was first in the lil truck .
lowered with cut coils ,blocks in rear and removed a couple leaves for now...
it still needs much more bodywork before its ready for paint.

this is how it looked when i drug it home in december! what a pile!

 

I love the stance on that. Did you c the frame or step it?? looks like it'd be close to bump stops.......
please don't paint it in black primer.......
