His was the '52 Chevy in shop worn primer parked next to Crash's shoebox. We worked and worked, finally just stopped, put some fluid in the new brake system, had some pipe run from the collectors to the side pipes, got is aligned and headed to Texas. I had a great time hanging out with all you young guys and gals. Keeps me motivited to get mine put back together.

Thanks, Denise. We were told many times how dumb we were for heading for Texas in an untried car...I was pretty confident in the work we had done...it was a little nerve racking for the first hour or so, then we began to relax and just enjoy the drive. Seth is still walking on cloud 9, stoked about taking his car to P & P. Thanks again to the Chupracabras!! (guess I'm still a little stoked too)

Couldn't find BigTony?? That had to have been a first. ;)
He HAD to have been hiding in the porta potty or something. That'd be about the only way you'd miss him.:D

Well I don't know what he looks like so I guess that had something to do with it. I'm sure he was around. I just missed him.

I heard the guy that owns that '50 Merc plays with dolls and wears pink panties.:p

I never made it over to see that T coupe pull in, but I heard it and was standing there when Brian saw it and made the statement that he had just found his pick. I later found out the owner had -just- got it running and came out to the show. Congrats to him, it's a bad ass looking car.

Thanks for all the pictures, and congrats on getting the car to the show.

I'll take your word on the panties, but I know for a fact that he's played with Polly Pockets dolls and has tea parties.

Of course, I would too if Victoria asked me.

Hahahahaha Yeah I didn't have time to get it in there right so I just tossed it in on the way, literally. It was crammed up in the dash and I dug it out at the gas station on the way. I didn't even know it worked.

    Who would have thought!!!:D :D

I have moved onto black only, goes with everything.

My life now revolves around Webkins if you must know...and drool from the new one.

Yeah beautiful car but I heard Hank Cash once sat naked and rubbed on the seats while the owner wasn't looking. Sad really.

  29. Awesome coverage!

    I dig the '34 sedan...

    Sam.

  30. Who's got the 53-ish Two Door Chevy....black top and gold body sitting on the grass noted in the pictures above?

I took a ton of pictures of that car at the Goodguys KC show this year...even better in person.

To whom ever owns it....it kicks much ass.
