    Thank you,

I was a Navy Diver stationed on two nuclear fast-attack submarines, USS San Juan (SSN-751) and USS City of Corpus Christi (SSN-705), 1985-1991.

My father was a Master Chief on a nuclear ballistic missle, nuclear fast-attack, and two diesel submarines. The boats that he was on were the USS Sam Rayburn, Billfish, Angler, and Tusk.

All of my uncles served in Nam and my grandfather was US Army Airborne in France during WWII.

Thanks to all the American's who are serving and have served over the years. Without everyone's conrtibutions we wouldn't have a place to live today. I don't know if any of the current vets have given thought to writing down your experiences during your time. It doesn't have to be the bad stuff either. We were lucky enough to have my grandfather (Sapper, 4th Field Co. No 11 Sec, 1St Division of the Royal Canadian Engineers) write his stories of the war after he retired. It document his life in the army, from basic training in Canada to time served in Great Britian, Africa, Italy, and Holland. It's about the adventures and friendships made while in the service. I encourage all of the vets to document something for your family to have as a rememberance of your sacrifice you made. Once they're all gone, there is no one left to tell the story...

If anyone's interested, PM me and I can email you a copy of the book if you're interested in reading... Thanks!
