It never ends does it? I've had this '41 Ford panel for a year or so. Way back when I got it, Clark, Mikey, Jr and all the guys came over to get the small block in. It got in and it is just now getting on the road. Jr helped my TONS finishing this thing to get it going. I have a hand full of little stuff to finish up and the official Jalopy Showdown show junk hauler is good to go! Then Nappy tells me about this damn 1948 Airstream camper so...the next project is born. I think they look cool together but I know exactly dick about restoring a camper so this should be interesting!
Wow Larry, That is just perfect! I really love those panels and that one is just right. Good stuff Gabe
remind me to kick nappy for not telling me about it first.. thats an awesome camper larry.. cant wait to see it out and about..
Cool trailer...and the truck too. Clark knows how to dismantle a vintage trailer . That will get you started .
Thanks, I'm going to get the truck lettered for the antique business, real basic 40's style. Kim pretty much stripped the interior of the camper already, right down to pulling out all the floor. Clark know just a little TOO much about taking a camper apart!
Thats a really nice looking Ford Panel. I like basic interiors on panel wagons and sedan deliveries, they mostly came no thrills from the factory. Do the Ford panels of that era have a wooden or metal frame on the inside side panels behind the seat? cheers ricki
Great looking combination. Step one - Fabricate a trailer hitch A friend in NJ has one he is working on the frame needs to be extended to get a strong trailer hitch out back. Looking forward to seeing it on the streets.
Glad to see that you FINALLY got something interesting to post about. Ya right!! That combination sure looks good together. Keep us up to date on the trailer redo. Frank
Larry, you are going to have to remodel the warehouse and put a large garage door (oh and ramp) in.. as you have to be out of room for all your toys
Wow Larry, Great combo. The truck looks super. Did you need directions to the campgrounds so you can attend Florida Billetproof?? Mike
I always thought one of those campers would look great with an engine turned finish. Wouldn't that be cool?
bsl - you can almost see the "utah or bust" on the side, for another trip of a lifetime - 2005! 2007! 2009? - hopefully this time i'll be able to "drive" along - big john
