Oh yeah, we can fab up a push bar. Cool idea.

I like the idea of zoomies, but I'm afraid I'll still get fumed out inside the car.

Nice Photo work Monster! I'm thinking about loosing the 70's van sidepipes, welding up a block off flange at the end of the header, and then welding exhaust pipes to the side of the collector that sneak under the frame and then a full exhaust out the back.

    Thanks all..

Looks cool. Don't do zoomies though. Unless there's a blower involved they sound crappy at idle.

    Bitchin'! Looks tough as hell.

  6. Zoomies are a little too Ratrodtraditionalhotrod(TM) for a car like that...

What about headers with some 4" can collectors? painted white...

You can't go wrong being inspired by the Orig. 15 oz. Coupe!

Full hood with lots and lots of louvers. Run the exhaust farther back and under the car.

    Killer, BTW!

  10. I've loved the 15 oz. coupe from the minute I saw it at the Nitro Nationals in Pamona...!!!

But I think it would run faster on Chilliphils Chilli...!!!! Hahaha...!

What a difference a set of wheels and tires make...!

One tuff look. Looks like it could definately scare women and children at night.

60's style headers dumping into oversized rectangular box collectors /cut outs would be cool. (in white or black)

Glad you gave credit for the side pipe removal suggestion. However, it seems I'm not alone.
Now to the chase. The addition of the "new" tire/wheel combination sure gives a "bad ass" impression, it's really dramatic (almost makes you forget the sidepipes:eek: ). I agree with what's been said about a blower or injection and zoomie exhaust to finish the makeover, women and small children be damned:D
Everything aside, once again we have a perfect example of how a simple tire and wheel swap can make or break a car (or at least make a DRAMATIC change)
Actuall the sidepipes wouldn't be as bad if they had a real short collector with a turnout.

Puddin that coupe looks awesome, the 15oz coupe was the inspiration for a friend of mine also that I crew for. Its running a blown & Injected small block. It ran a 9.80 first time out , still a few bugs to sort out will be running again in December.
    Cheers Dago.

Wow, that thing is bad ass. Makes my 32 look even more like a poser. :)

If I had the time, I'd like to build a custom set of headers..... and paint them white, just like Sam said.

Oh, maybe ceramic coat the side pipes magnisium(spelling), I know they make the color. My buddy that does my coatings offered it to me as an option once. He showed me an example and it was bitchen.
