Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Odd ball, Oct 22, 2007.

  1. i just acquired a project 40 ford pick-up from my dad who wants to build his 53 panel truck instead... its all there, just need to put it together... i was going to buy another shoebox('50) that i found forsale down the road, but he turned me around when he said to save my $$ and take the truck!

anyone have pics of some? i searched but i couldnt come up with much...

its going to be traditional... dont think im going to paint it either... the body is in good shape with the old paint with all that petina! :D going to leave the flatty 8... hopefully ill make next years hunnert or maybe even greaserama

    thanks,
    dan

nice cars man! working on two at the same time is tough....Maybe that's why everyone advises against it! Good luck- looks like you're on the right track with the '40!

  23. thanks... ya, i dont know whether to say its tough or just too much fun... haha... they keep me busy and out of trouble, for the most part...

  27. update...

well, before the cold hit, i got the cab set on the frame, inner fenders, grill, bed and hood all sitting together... ive been focusing on the 51 since spring is nearing and many people have told me it will never see the road again after the fire... so its kinda like a rub it in your face goal now... haha... ill post pics up of the 40 later on to let you see how it is coming together

i still need rear fenders and running boards, anyone?

    thanks,
    odd ball
