Unbelieveable! Just how many chassis are up there? What a parts collection. He could have his own cackle fest when he is through. chuck
Holy damn!!!!!!! I can't get over the SHELVES of 392 heads! Those things go for stupid money just for a pair, and still aren't what I'd call easy to find, and this guy's got frickin SHELVES upon SHELVES of them!!!! And a car collection to go with it!
If I ever hit the lotto, that's what my garage would look like too. It's almost too much cool stuff for one guy to have. There's no way he could possibly enjoy all of that stuff in one lifetime. However... ...I commend him for trying! LOL!!! ~Scotch~
Incredible!! What a treasure trove for the FED history buff. Glad to see all that stuff safe and well cared for........in the right hands.
Glad everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. After seeing that, I want to plan a road trip/vacation from S.C. to Tacoma, WA.
That guy has enough to go beyond just rebuilding and recreating CARS...he could recreate 1963 and start a racing series in the past with no modern intrusions! Don't like the changes forced by modern rules? Just step over to the NHRA dragster division in 1963...
Bucky's brother Walt (Walt Austin Racing) built the Top Alcohol Funny Car we ran in the division 5 series from 1996-2002. He's a hell of a guy, and so is his son Pat. Did not get to see Bucky much but I've heard the same. We had computer data on damn near everything on the car and just could not get the car to run as fast as Pat. Walt came over and tuned the car by listening to it (NO EAR PROTECTION) and feeling the exhaust coming out of the headers. It was the fastest we had ever run, and we beat Pat for the Wally. I think Pat was a little pissed.
Hahahaha.......I drive past that place just about everyday........ Never anyone there......but you can see some cool stuff drivin' by....
