Thomson CT,vintage race cars.

    Ok,we went to this meet at Thomson CT,with tons of vintage race cars,midgets,sprints,and old stock cars,so here are some pictures,we had a blast,we also stoped in at the So-Cal Speed Shop in Uxbridge,and what a cool place,and one of the owners,Rob,a real nice guy.

    Yes they did run them,and they ran them hard and wide open,sounded awesome,sorry no more pictures of the Allard,but i do know it had an Ardun in it.

    Gleaned this off the web. '
    This early J-2 Allard was originally the property of Zora Arkus Duntov and placed second at Watkins Glen, NY. Engine is a Ford Flathead V-8 with Duntov's Ardun ohv head conversion. This car was on display at the national Corvette Museum until recently.

    Yep, thanks CT, know that, guy I know tickled the motor recently, so was interested to see if anyone had any close up pics of it.
