  5. Thanks OL55, here are a couple of other shots of the 33 outside. I had the ET's on the front for a while, but I like the symmetry of the Americans all the way around, so that is the way it is for now.

The two of us. We've been spending more time together lately, but obviously not enough since it still doesn't run.

Was that an old Army or Air Force staff car? I was in France back in 1967 when we had to pull out and I'm sure we left allot of cars and trucks behind, but those would be late 50's & early 60's vehicles.

I am full of projects right now. Pictured in my shop are '48 F1-31 A Truck-'29 Plymouth tudor sedan (all friends) and my next project '31 A Vicky. In cold storage is my '29 A tudor and last is my finished '30 coupe. Thanks for letting me share my shop and toys.

No this is actually a "french" car, imported by GM brand new in 1953. All tags are written in french and the counter is in Kms. (it's a pain to find body parts here!)
Where was your Base? I have never heard of abandonned american military vehicules here...

I was stationed in Kaiserslautern, Germany at a General Depot. I went into France to shuttle vehicles out of France to Germany. We had DRMO ( like a junk yard) at our post and I'm sure they would have had them in France, we wouldn't have taken junk back with us. I'd bet if you did some digging around you might be able to find some old U.S. junk.
I was there from 1966 to 1968 and I saw buildings with jeeps and other stuff stored as a reserve (just in case!), also I drove trucks, buses, and staff cars built from the 30's to 1968.
I know it was a long time ago and things have changed, but you never can tell!!!

In my old garage, a Volvo 544 and lack of room. In my new garage, a Honda 750 and windows from the house. Outside; Anglia raw material.

  26. This is not in my garage yet, but it will be. I ordered one of these new limited edition 'Deuce 75th Anniversary' neon signs. This was on display at Pleasanton this weekend. Number 1 & 32 were already spoken for, I was lucky enough to get number 2!

Well this is all I can fit till the addition gets done. Thats Larry's Panel and Sandy's roadster and hidden under the sedan there is a 34 Hudson rumble seat coupe and 49 Chevy truck in there. Now out back is where the real pile is!
