Just so you know, I avoid topics like yours, because I can not understand a younin' having problems like this!!! and going thru it in the past just brings back memories, BUT>>>>>>>>>
Basically it hurts us ALL inside! Ihope everything goes great! I have a daughter with a cleft lip/palate--- (no, not as bad as heart problems I know) but still hospital after hospital, etc!!! To them (the staff) it is just routine, but to you it is one of the scariest tings in the world!!! I bid you good luck, great KARMA, and a fantastic recovery for your boy!! There is NO reason a youn guy has to go through this.....Ken

A good friend of the family had heart surgery when he was about Liam's age.

He now plays paintball and is getting his driver's licence.

Liam will be just fine.
