  3. I think this is closer to a typical HAMB 57.

  7. haha that's not mine. It's The Fidgiter's ol-man's ride. I guess you'll have to ask him about the bullets and all that. I posted a link to his thread under the picture of it...it's a little hard to see...

Yeah, that is my car. To remove the bullets, I had to shape and weld in pieces where the bumper was flattened out for the bullets to mount. While I was at it went ahead and welded the three bumper pieces together and weld up all the bolt holes and weld on the brackets. It is painted because there was no way I was ever going to get it smooth enough for chrome. Glad you like the car.

  12. just got these shots off the fidgiters' thread. the old shot in white looks scary close to my car. the shot in black is what washington mutual should use for advertising, if they did, i'd probably get me one of those wamu checking accounts they're always whining about.

  14. The bullets are just bolted on. All you need is a shorter carrage bolt.

The bumper is a painted original bumper.

I like the grill bar. Want to share how you did that?

They are bolted on, but when you pull the bullet off there is a dished spot on the bumper, it is not flush. You can't just weld up the hole and call it a day.

The grill bar is made from scratch....I think he used stainless? It does use factory '57 turn signal lenses though.
