Cool to see a top on her.

  2. Stylin'.

White top = high albedo = much cooler inside, literally, than with a black top.

  3. I ain't ever seen her without a top! :D

I know you drive the car, and the top will be a great addition....in freezing rain or 100 degree heat....perfection isn't needed....but, increasing the fun factor is ....looks great Denise.

BigOlds is looking real good better and better everytime I see it.
I drove my '52 Kaiser around with the top cut off for a couple years, even got video of my driving over Donner Summit heading for the Paso run one year in a driving rain had a great time wet and all.

Looks great - I like the color choice.

  12. I like it with the top,It seems to shorten the length and bring it all into proportion.1)Brownie points for having a go yourself 2)not in the slightest bit jealous that your going to Bonneville and I,m not.Be safe, you ve lost a bit of periferal vision.

  13. Big Olds looks great Denise!

It may seem strange for a bit, but you'll grow to appreciate that top, especially when you are stylin' with your new interior as well.

"All Y'all" have fun on the road. Be careful and stay outta trouble!!!

He looks good with a hat. Nice.

  15. It's good to see a pic of your car. I keep forgetting that it's painted.

The reason I say that is my son, Michael, took a pic of your rear, er I mean Big Old's rear, at A&W during the Telegraph cruise last weekend. I gotta say I'm proud of him, cuz he was with my parents, so that means he took it on his own. :) What's that about the apple and the tree...

I'll have to see if I can get a copy to scan and get to you.

Oh, and I know what you mean about the top thing... when we got the Mustang, the first thing I did after pushing it in the garage was put the top down. I actually got pneumonia this spring from not putting the top up on a 40+ degree week that I drove it to work... the top has only been up once while I drove it. It just doesn't feel right...

    HRLC,
You are spending your money where it counts the most... the interior. The top is for function only. Don't sweat it. Just think about how cool your new interior is gonna be.
