Anyone know of a shop in or around Houston that will take a stock 6" steel wheel out to 8 or 10 inches?
WheelKid is an alliance vendor -- Rally America, and he will modify any wheel to your specs. There have been lots of good recommendations here for his work. It would require shipping, but check him out: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/member.php?u=15250
Andrew- Call Jimmy "Wheelkid" and get a qoute, check shipping. Prolly close to $40 each way for the two rims maybe a bit more. I've shipped and recieved many of the same wheels from Jimmy. But you need to hit up Norris Machine over off Long & Telephone Rd. They do everything wheel you can think off. Adapters, narrow, widen, straighten. All the way up to machining 24.5 Big Rig rims down to accept 24" rollers. I had them do some adapters for me a couple years ago. For the life of me I can't find the card with the guys name on it though. I'm thinking his name is Danny, but I'm not that great with names.
