That's the Sherman - Allison (if i remember right) Messerschmidt out of Edmonton, Alberta

I just did some digging through my collections.

John Chalmers who gets the photo credit on the Bench Racer Cover writes for my club news Foothills Kruizin' now and then. I recall him including a mention of how the car handled in an article sometime in the past year or so. I'm looking for that now.

I know this thread is 13 years old. How could I find a link to the photos of the Messerschmidt? My dad built and raced this car in his late teens and I would love to show him some of these when he visits over Christmas.

Hey I just got it...your dad built this car...cool please ask him for the story and any pics he might have and post it up...to cool. You should ask him about speeds attained, who was involved in the build, what he did with it...great stuff...and welcome to the Hamb
