What size and how many "lightening" holes do you guys punch in you Model A visors? I need to order a new visor and the vendor says he can punch the holes if I'll give him the size and # of holes. That'll save me a lot of work!
    Thanks in advance!

    I think 10 to 13 holes 1 1/2" to 2" look best...Lucky

  3. Ask if he can "dimple" punch them. Looks trick. Curves the edges in slightly. Also stronger

An odd number of holes puts one in the dead center and the rest out to the edges on each side.
An even number leaves the center blank.

  5. Look at some of the pics on here, also, I think there was a guy selling the punched ones on here.

Here's an older shot of mine...9 holes, I think it was a 3-inch holesaw. Start in the middle...measure, measure, measure!!!

9 holes in mine. I agree that dimple died holes would look best. No diamonds, stars, or parallelograms.

You can do the dimple part after the fact with the right dies... I have a complete set of the dimple and punch dies from 3/8 up to 2 inch....Jason
