Woke up on the Saturday morn at Victory Wheelers 30th Anniversary show. Poor guy looked to have driven 100 or so miles only to arrive at site & have this happen....fortunately 2 feet off the road onto a soft wet landing! Great looking rod with an apt caption on the number plate/tags ..... "SHOT DOWN" !!
Looks like Ivors.........from Norfolk he done some serious miles to get there, dam shame.......did he get it sorted out ??
Looks like the dreaded banjo axle separation... am I correct? Maybe I should invest in some retainers? Rich
Nah, nothing forgotten PeteJoe, something gave way but hard to see in all the mud on the place but "the-rodster" may have it in one. Was gone coup hours later Dave so I'm assuming was recoverd, felt so sorry for the guy, was a cool looking ride but just happy for him that it happened there & not at 75mph on the M3! Did I tell ya Dave, I'm gettin 16mpg to the Imp gallon on the Lincoln??!! Was only good for ten in 58..... I may give up the scissors for spanners!!
Definitely looks like Ivor's - he didn't forget anything - that's been on the road & driven hard for at least two years now. Nice truck, top bloke too. Hope it was a simple repair...
