Dude I am so bummed I cant make your show.... Too bad we cant put both shows together on the weekend- drive from one to the other or something....

 

I'll be there Friday nite & Saturday. I will actually have my truck this year . If anyone is coming in Friday afternoon from NY/NJ and needs some "Alternate Routes" to avoid the traffic, let me know. I drive CT roads 5+ hours a day.

Not this year sweetie. Speed Week is taking up my two week vacation this year BUT next year I have three weeks so it's a real strong possibility. I've wanted to attend for years now.

I'm looking forward to reading the coverage of the show on the HAMB so someone better take lots-o-photos and post them.

 

It's a good thing the Glassguy's new Bible thumpin buisiness is doing so well, he will reform all you sinners. Dave will you be leading the sunrise services again this year? What time will the "blessing of the beer" take place on saturday?

I was hoping too, but kind of doubt it now. Too many last minuet preparations for the show and very little time.

 

I'll be there in the Connecticut Dragway '59 first thing Saturday morning. Pop's '55 Chevy just wont make it in time, that Paxton supercharger has been a bitch! All depends on how fast it gets a new mag and back on dyno. Sure can't wait though! If it gets rained out or something I'll be pissed.

So glad this show is back this year, I'm out working on the A tonight, no waiting till the last minute this year, Damn can't wait.

 

"running I-95" just ain't gonna happin'. In '05 we were crawlin' up I-95 from Philly area, with all the stop n' go shit and all the traffic. NO accidents or construction, just the "rubber band" effect. We're gonna take some alternate routes this year.

 

If you cruise up 95 into Jersey and hop on the GSP, you can take that to the Tappan Zee. The jump on the Saw Mill Pkwy and that will get you to 84. 84 will suck as it does every year, but at least you skip most on the 95 bull.

 

Well Keith, I guess one of the rumors are true............ dang, not sure how that one leaked out. It was suppose to be a surprise.
