Isn't the front clip 55 Chevy with 56 bumper?

  7. MSRA site says11,532 registered vehicles. Which supposedly makes it the largest car show in the WORLD.

Last year, the only bigger show was the NSRA Street Rod Nationals.

I'll add my vote for the theater seats - sure makes it easy to get things from underneath! The roof - eggplant color - is amazing! What is that kind of paint technique called? I love that look.

BTW-I admit, I have radials and an alternator on my Flathead powered 47 Mercury.

Man, it felt good to purge that...

Yes, by all means, I should expect when passing a car like this that he will do a lane change right over the top of the fork on my motorcycle. What the hell was I thinking, expecting someone to actually look over their shoulder before switching lanes when they have no mirrors or signals? A lane change to the left is really easy to hand signal.

I made no comment on the workmanship or price tag, so I don't understand your second comment. The only close look I had at this car was in traffic, while I was grabbing brake levers and cursing.

Your friend chopped the top of a fiberglass 3 window?

Guess it follows that he'd nearly run someone over.

I saw that one too, I was wondering about it. If you look at it up close in person, it looked almost like those ardun heads are fake, with some screwed on covers to adapt them to the block? Unless someone has some more info, maybe I was just seeing things.

No, I guess I didn't notice that, but now I do. I wasn't sure what it was, all I knew is that it just looked really funny for some reason.

I do have to say that the rest of the car is very well put together, though.

Very nice workmanship all the way around.

Pretty sure it's not an Ardun flatty, but I don't know what is actually is. Exhaust ports say not-SBC, distributor says not-SBF.

    A couple more pics:

i believe it was actually BBC....

  30. Once agian, Ill say, when I lived in MN, most of these cars would NOT have been on the street. The Cops would have had they impounded for not having, fenders, mufflers, proper lights, being too low and paint.
