Lakepipes on my '52?

Greetings all, I hope you are enjoying summer. I got a set of 71" lakepipes to install on my '52 Chevy Sedan, but I can't seem to get them to "fit" right. The car is lowered, and I put new rocker trim pieces on so, If I hang 'em under the rockers, they don't look right where they turn in in front. I know there are a lot of you who have done this; anybody got any tips or pics?

I had mine about 45 degrees from outer edge of rocker...so not really under but close..I think I had 80 in. and entered right in back of wheel well
