    The top is Dave's idea. It looks ok while it is up,not so good when its down.I wanted it without a top at all.

    We have since changed that dash ans firewall with parts from a sedan.The body is the front part of a touring car.

    Am I the only one thinkin that 140 HP toyota motor with only mechanical rear brakes may be a recipe for a crash??? That little mill may suprise you.

    Oh yeah!!....It's not too fast yet because the tires were new in 1937:eek: but had been flat for 50 years.They kinda' limit the top speed because they really bounce and wobble:D . Should be able to crash it properly with some new tires:rolleyes: .

    That looks cool for a static display. Please don't drive it with the bent steering rod.
    It will bump steer somthing awful unless both ends of the draglink are horizontal.

    Yeah, that's what he's building - a static display :confused:

    That will work fine, mine is bent very similiar to that, sure there is a little bumpsteer, but it's hardly noticeable.

    if the bends worry you just add gussets at the bends...maybe some lightening holes to look racy!

    They are 25 Dodge front springs all the way around.
