I finally painted my 50 over the weekend, a long two day process. It took me almost two years to get to this point, but it paid off in the end. The paint is nexa autocolor, while the flames are House Of Kolor flake. I now have two weeks to assemble before I head off to Paso
After seeing it with all that masking tape on it, I would have been tempted to paint it seafoam green with pale yellow flames.
Looks great. I like the flame position and color choice. I admire you for sticking to all that body work. Man i hate the finish work. Looks good.
I liike the finished colors... but part of me agrees with Squa... it does look good green and pale yellow. Funny how shit like that happens!
That looks really, really good... I'm jelous of where your at on your project. I'm just getting ready to take the body off the frame on my 50 so I have a LONG road still ahead. It's posts like this that keep me inspired to keep chugging along.
Exactly my first thought when I saw the pics!! Looks bitchin' either way....congrats on having some of that shiny stuff!!
What color is that white? Is that bc/cc Chrysler cool vanilla? I may p[aint my galaxie that color.Mike
wow dude, that looks really cool... if you would have asked me I'd have shot the idea down. But that is awesome!!!
Awesome job! I love the seaweed flames. Where do you do your painting? Are going to be able to see the car in Nor Cal before or after Paso? Jon
The color isnot off a chrysler it is off a volkswagon. I have had the colors picked out for almost two years and most people did not like the combo but now that it is on the car it looks exacly like i thought it would. I do my painting in the easy bay and i will be around at various shows during the summer, just looking forward to taking it out. thanks
