  1. Not much but it gets things going. I pushed Tingler to get things started and he pushed back and this is all I got and...and...and...

I call it, 1957 Ford Ranchero, custom. Eh? Eh???

Damn Janne, I'm pretty sure if you drew a pile of dog crap, it would look cool and I would want to drive it!

    Good stuff!

I'll bet it's the best looking striped mower on the whole art show! Seriously, everyone sucks on their first try, looks good for a first effort. Keep practicing.

This is the only portrait I've ever done. This is an oil on canvas of my hero Bruce McLaren. McLaren was a fellow Kiwi, and he and I shared the same birthday, August 30, although he was killed before I was born. I would loved to have met him. He established McLaren Motorsport whilst still in his twenties, which is still a dominant force in Formula 1 to this day. He was a multiple Can-Am champion, and all-round nice guy.

This painting is on loan to the Bruce McLaren Trust, set up by Bruce's sister Jan.

Great work on here so far as usual!!! You guys are awesome!

Ok, so everyone here ( I think) knows the story about Andy Dunn.
If not, you can get up to speed reading this thread:
    http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=171446

Anyways, what this has to do with the friday art show, is that Im not a rich man and cant donate much money, but I always have something to offer.

I use to have a company called Monster Hotrods. Anyway, I sent Andy and his dad a shirt design of their choice, (the two below are the ones they chose) a HUGE bag of decals and company stickers, and this original drawing made and signed just for Andy.

Keeping those spirits high is sometimes priceless, Im sure you all know that, so this is my contribution to Andy as well as for my 'friday'

  27. Didn't think it was the 27th yet? Here's a tool box I did for my brother(a/fxcomet). I borrowed it for a couple years then I finally decided to hand it back to him. All the welds were splitting and it was beat/warped to death. So I took the resistence welder to it and pounded/heat shrinked it back to life. Here you go..

  28. I shot it with a black metallic base coat. I then shot over the stripes with the clear. They look real sweet and smooth. My first time doing that and definetly not my last.
Here are some progress shots of it...
